Acidic Picpoul 2025 was restrained on the bright and fresh nose of citrus, pomelo peel, stone and white flowers. Chardonnay 2025 was less reductive than Chardonnay 2024. The predominant notes were chestnut and citrus. Elegantly textured, with bright acid. Tense yet feminine and polished Spice Garden Single Site Grenache 2024 showed elegantly restrained aromas of crushed raspberry, stone and sweet spices. Dried flower, scrub, savoury-mineral, sushi ginger, red fruits (cranberry, red cherry), citrus peel, white pepper and white chocolate made up the alluring aroma of Kintsugi 2022 that was ethereal and refined while delicate and vivid.

Fiano 2026 was perfumed and clean on the nose and palate that were floral and spicy, with mouth-watering acid.

Fume Blanc 2023 possessed a layered and bright nose of nuts, citrus, savoury-mineral and tiny flowers. Textured on the mouthfeel with fresh acid and subtle salinity. Merlot 2022 was refined on the nose of dried flower, candied cherry, waxberry, cinnamon-like sweet spices and stone. Fleshy yet polished and freshly acidic. Like a top Amarone, Tzimmukin 2017 was ripe but very clean on the bouquet of dried flower, ripe blackberry, fig, sweet spices, savoury-mineral and a tint of black chocolate. Somewhat ethereal on the mid-palate that was full of bright acid. Autumn Harvest Dessert Wine 2025 was fresh and lucid on the fragrant aroma of jasmine tea, pineapple, citrus, apricot, honeydew and sugarcane. There was a nice balance between the acidity and sweetness.

Knappstein

Bryksy's Hill Vineyard Riesling 2015 revealed a tint of gold hues. Well-evolved bouquets of roasted chestnut, marmalade, stone, spices, lime and sugarcane. It remained bright and fresh. Stunning acid filled the textured palate, with a flinty end. Bright and fresh Ackland Vineyard Riesling 2025 was full of austere minerality and lemony acidity. Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 was elegantly perfumed on the nose while delicately juicy on the palate with an austerely tannic finish.

Kirrihill

Vineyard Select Series Shiraz 2022 was elegantly restrained on the nose that was sweetly spicy and floral. Perfumed and dense in the backdrop. Austere on the mid-palate.

Ox Hardy

Shiraz 2023 was violet-scented on the elegant and perfumed aroma with a spicy and mineral-inflected backdrop. Also fragrant on the palate that was smooth and poised, with a saline end. Elegantly restrained Slate Shiraz 2023 had a serious and mineral-driven background. Delicate and silky for the tannin, with loads of juicy fruitiness toward the finish.

Thistledown

In earlier vintages, The Vagabond Grenache 2025 was a blend of Grenache and Tempranillo. Refined aromas of dried flower, sweet spices and black fruits. Very firm yet juicy.
